Our Mission
The great need for Christian apologetics in universities, churches, and homes led to the creation of the Greater Cincinnati Apologetics site. The vision of this ministry is to have a thriving community of believers in the Cincinnati area who can articulate their faith and give reasons for why it is actually true. The scriptures tell us as Christians to “destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God” (1 Cor. 10: 4-5) as well as to always be “prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15)
Greater Cincinnati Apologetics was started by Cade Cover, a history professor and apologist who was born in Cincinnati and serves the community as a supported missionary. Cade, as well as other contributors, post relevant articles on a number of topics. Apologetics events in the Greater Cincinnati area are noted under the events section. Cade’s personal blog is featured on the site, as well as information about recurring gatherings for students or apologists themselves.
